Accepting "free" goods or services in exchange for blog posts raises certain ethical questions for bloggers. Do we owe more to the sponsor or to our readers? We would all likely answer that our readers come first. Or would we? We soften negative reviews, or don't write them at all. We write about the good, and leave out the bad. We minimize our negative experiences in order to make our sponsored reviews look impartial. In this session, we'll take a look at this ethical issue and its implications, and discuss how to address it.
