Building Lasting Local Brand Partnerships That Go Beyond the Blog

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Establishing a niche is increasingly important in travel blogging, which is why more and more bloggers are choosing to specialise in just one city, region, or country – and why more and more brands are choosing to work with those who do. While becoming a destination expert can limit opportunities to work with international brands, being a recognised authority can also create new opportunities to develop deep and lasting relationships with local travel companies that can be more mutually beneficial in the long run. In this session, destination-specific bloggers and travel brands will learn about various opportunities that exist for local 'experts', both through and beyond the blog. We’ll go over ways of monetizing your FAQs, why and how destination specialists can work with local and global brands, what to look for in who you partner with, and how to set up 'offline' affiliate tracking systems.
